Why was my card declined?

A declined card (or payment authorisation error) might have happened because:

1. the card details are incorrect or have expired.
2. there is not enough balance on your card.
3. you have exceeded the limit on your credit/debit card.
4. the issuing bank has blocked the card.
5. the transaction is blocked by the bank.

What can I do if my card is declined?

You will need to contact your bank to unblock the card/transaction (as sometimes you need to enable the card for online purchases).

If you need to make an immediate transaction, you can try a different payment method or a different credit/debit card.
