Why is my charging speed slower than the charger rated power?

Charging speed depends on your EV’s charging capability and battery condition.

For AC chargers:
Check your EV's charging capability.

EVs that support up to 7kW usually use single-phase charging. Use a 7kW (single-phase) or 22kW charger for the best results.
EVs that support 11kW and above use three-phase charging, and can use any AC charger.

For DC chargers:
Charging speed will vary based on your battery percentage. The closer your battery is to full, the slower the charging speed becomes.
