What are the road tax renewal criteria?

These are the criteria for a successful road tax renewal:

1. An active vehicle insurance policy.

2. Maximum 2 months from road tax expiry date. 

3. The vehicle is less than 20 years old.

         a. Vehicles more than 20 years old may require PUSPAKOM inspections (kindly contact the nearest JPJ branch or visit the JPJ website for confirmation).

         b. Road tax renewal for e-Hailling vehicles need to be done physically at the JPJ office.

4. The vehicle owner is between 18-75 years old. 

5. The vehicle not blacklisted by JPJ or PDRM due to outstanding summons.

6. The vehicle is not used for e-Hailing purposes.
