How do I verify my account/perform e-KYC?
There are a few ways to verify your account on the Setel app.
From the homepage
1. Launch the Setel app and tap Verify account to unlock features.
2. Tap on Verify now.
3. Tap Let's Start.
Police personnel (PDRM): Please use your MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Military personnel (ATM): You may use either your MyTentera card or MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Through the Account tab
1. Launch the Setel app and tap Account.
2. Below your name, tap Verify your account.
3. Tap Verify now.
4. Tap Let's start.
Police personnel (PDRM): Please use your MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Military personnel (ATM): You may use either your MyTentera card or MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Through the Wallet balance
1. Tap your wallet balance/Setel icon.
2. Tap Verify now.
3. Tap Verify now.
4. Tap Let's start.
Police personnel (PDRM): Please use your MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Military personnel (ATM): You may use either your MyTentera card or MyKad for account verification (e-KYC).
Is there a limit to the number of times I can attempt to verify my account/perform e-KYC?
Yes, there is a daily limit in place. Once you have hit the limit, you can attempt to verify your account after 24 hours.
