How do I end my own automated parking session in the Setel app?

If your parking session remains active even after you’ve exited the car park, or if a session is triggered in the Setel app even though you are not physically at the location, you can now end the session directly from the Setel app. Ending your session this way will not incur any charges.

If you end the parking session in the Setel app while your vehicle is still parked, you will still be required to pay the parking fee at the car park exit using another payment method.

Steps to end your parking session

1. Open your active parking session
   This feature is only available when you have an active session. You can access it via the live session timer in the Setel app. 
   
   
2. Tap the options menu
   Tap the “…” icon at the upper right corner of the screen, then select “End parking session”. 
   
   
3. Confirm your action
   You’ll be asked to confirm that you’ve exited the car park. Tap “Yes, I have” to proceed. 
   
   
4. Select a reason
   Choose the reason that best matches your situation, then tap “End Now”. 
   
   
5. Session successfully ended
   Your parking session will end automatically, and you’ll receive a toast notification on the Setel homepage confirming the action.
